A genuine treasure is moving in to Schönbrunn: our historic wooden carousel from the year 1903 thrills everyone with its 24 artistically carved horses, four coaches and lovingly designed decorative figurines. Originally made by hand in a workshop in Belgium, the unique carousel was painstakingly restored in recent months in Austria and restored to its original splendour.

Very soon, children’s eyes will be glistening in excitement again: The carousel is currently being upgraded to meet the latest technical standards before it goes back into operation.

Tickets are issued directly on site. In addition, an admission ticket to the Children’s Museum Schloss Schönbrunn is valid for a ride on the carousel.
