Happy to see you again

We are pleased that all locations of the Schönbrunn Group in Vienna and Lower Austria [Schönbrunn Palace, Sisi Museum with the Imperial Apartments and the Silver Collection in the Hofburg Vienna, Vienna Furniture Museum as well as Schloss Hof Estate] are open again for guests! Please note the current opening times and safety precautions.

Under current Federal government rules group tours and workshops are permitted to take place subject to certain restrictions: The maximum group size contains 8 adults and their children (up to the age of 18).

Current rules for accredited tour guides and travel agencies: for events/tour groups of up to and including ten persons no registration is necessary; however, antigen testing is obligatory.

Groups of above 17 persons must be registered and undergo testing. They must therefore be registered in advance by the event organizer: veranstaltung[at]ma15.wien.gv.at

Safety Precautions

Keep your distance

For your own safety and that of others, please keep a distance of at least 1 metre from staff and visitors. It is most urgent that you take note of the safety instructions of our staff, which are issued for everyone’s safety.

Mouth and nose protection - FFP2

Wearing a FFP2 mask inside the state rooms is mandatory for our guests.

Avoid Groups

Avoid gathering in groups and, if necessary, wait before entering a particular room or area.

Please note hygiene recommendations

Please keep to the hygiene recommendations. This means washing your hands regularly for a minimum of 20 seconds, and use the hand sanitizer dispensers provided. Make sure you sneeze/cough into disposable tissues, alternatively into your elbow. 

Cashless payments

If possible pay cashless – for your safety and that of our staff. Please use as priority the option of buying tickets online at www.imperialtickets.com. This is also possible at short notice before admission!

We would ask you not to visit any of our attractions or sites if you have symptoms or signs of illness such as fever, cough, breathlessness or breathing difficulties.
 

COVID Drive-through Test Centre at Schönbrunn

As well as the Walk-through Test Centre in the palace Orangery, a Drive-through Centre is being set up at the Schönbrunn Arrival Centre. Please find more information regarding the Test Center at Schönbrunn here coronavirus.wien.gv.at
