The Tradition Grows – The 2nd Year of the Schönbrunn Palace Christmas Market

From November 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace will once again be transformed into a magical world of experiences for young and old alike.

Countless lights, 95 lovingly decorated stalls, and a wide variety of traditional handicrafts, regional cuisine, and special experiences for the whole family create a unique festive atmosphere during the Christmas season – inviting visitors to marvel, enjoy, and linger.

At the Schönbrunn Palace Christmas Market, our youngest guests take center stage. In addition to free ice skating on our sustainable ice rink for children until 2:00 p.m., various rides, specially designed children’s menus at fair prices from our food stands, children’s mugs, small huts for kids, a straw labyrinth, and creative workshops will spark anticipation for Christmas and make children’s eyes shine.

This year, visitors can once again look forward to new attractions that will enrich the Christmas Market with even more highlights – ensuring that every year becomes a new experience.

Opening hours:

• November 6 – December 23, 2025: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• December 24, 2025: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• December 25, 2025 – January 6, 2026: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
